WALLACE TADASHI ONUMA Of Honolulu, passed on February 2, 2013 at the age of 92. Wallace is survived by his sons, Malcolm Onuma (Gail) and Lambert Onuma; grand- children, Michelle (Steven) Wong, Ryan Onuma, Kathleen Onuma Murray, Kristine (Lou) Cozzo, and Mark Onuma; great- grandchildren Miki Onuma, Cody Jensen, Katelynn Jensen, Tanner Wong, Drew Murray, Gianna Cozzo, and Koa Onuma. In 1941 Mr. Onuma was drafted by the US Army, where he served as an original member of the 100th assigned to Company B first and then to Headquarters Company in World War II (1941-1945). After the Army he wed his high school sweetheart, Jane Miranda, where they spent the better part of their lives happily raising their children and then grandchildren. He worked for the US Postal Service for more than 30 years before he retired. Mr. Onuma loved to play golf, garden and watch sports. The Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 at Honolulu Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Visitation begins at 9:30 am and service to start at 11 am.
