Irene Frances Leal, 74, of Makawao, Maui, a homemaker, died at home. She was born in Wailuku. She is survived by Arthur “Bobo,” Mark and Christopher; daughters Robin Mendoza and Stacy Kahaikupuna; hanai daughter Cookie Thomas; brothers Joseph and Gilbert Gonzales; sisters Hattie Cordeiro and Caroline Tom; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Ballard Family Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park.
