NORA KEAHIENAENALAPALAPAIKALUAO KILAUEA KEAHI (HALSTEAD) SANTOS
Age 94, of Honolulu, passed away February 3, 2013 at Kaiser Medical Center. Born November 28, 1918 in Honolulu. She was a talented musician with a beautiful falsetto voice and was the recipient of the Nahokuhanohano Award for 2002 and a member of the Musicians Union. Nora performed at Chuck Machado’s Luau, Queen’s Surf, the Kodak Hula Show, The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, USO Shows, Japan Hula Shows and numerous venues throughout the islands and abroad. She was also the cruise director on board the S.S. Leilani Cruise Line. Preceded in death by sons, Kaipo, Charley, Augie and Kalani. She is survived by daughter, Sandra (Caesar) Silva; 17 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren. Visitation 10:30 a.m. Wednesday 2/20 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Service 11:30 a.m. Burial 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
