Harold Akio Higuchi, 78, of Hilo, a retired cook, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Maureen; son Glenn; daughters Jeri Mosley and Gail Miyao; brother Albert Higuchi; sisters Tsutae Nonaka, Chizuru Sugawara, Setsuko Isa, Kaoru Mikami and Carol Yano; and four grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
