Richard Y.T. Char, 86, of Honolulu, a Kodak Hawaii senior engineer and an Army veteran, died in Maunalani Nursing Home. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by wife Betty, son Alvin, daughters Carlene Toshi and Diane Oda, and five grandchildren. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha or casual attire. No flowers.
