Clarence Y.K. Young, 87, of Honolulu, a retired Army master sergeant who served in the Korean War, a member of the 5th Regimental Combat Team and a Korean War POW, died in Honolulu. He was also a retired welder at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop 26. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son John; daughters Thelma A. QUEENIE WONG KWOCK Age 76 of Honolulu, Hawaii died on February 2, 2013 at the Queen’s Medical Center. Queenie was born October 6, 1936 in Waialua, Hawaii. She was a retired Librarian from Iolani school. Queenie also was a Librarian for the Hawaii State Library System, Star of the Sea School and Damien Memorial High School. Her passion was ceramics and she was a member of the Hawaii Potters’ Guild. Queenie is survived by her husband Kenneth C.W. Kwock; sons Philip G.G. Kwock and Stephen G. H. (Chona) Kwock; granddaughter Kamalei Kwock; brother: Lauren (Hazel) Wong; sister Mei Jean (Andrew) Ching.
