74Michael Maurice "Sifu Mike" Vendrell, 59, of Kailua-Kona, a martial arts teacher and Hollywood stuntman, died at home. He was born in Los Angeles. He is survived by wife Stephanie, daughters Jamie Vendrell and Heather Arthur, mother Maureen, hanai mother Barbara Nobriga, sisters Nancy Vendrell and Susan Arthur, numerous hanai children and a grandchild. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at OTEC/NELHA beach park.
