David Rosario, 73, of Hilo, a retired supervisor at the former Hilo Coast Sugar Plantation and a Hawaii Army Air National Guard and Army veteran, died in the Queen’s Medical Center. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Aileen; sons Richard and Darren; daughter Denise; hanai daughter Laroma Parker; brothers Alvin and Milton Pavao, and Alan Meyers; sisters Pamela Pavao and Julie Medeiros; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 43 Kapiolani St., Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, Hilo. Casual attire. No flowers.
