HARRIET A. GAY She received a B.A. degree from Russell Sage College, Troy, NY and a M.S. degree in English Literature from Brown University, Providence, RI. For many years she was a member of the Morning Music Club of Honolulu, hosting classical music concerts at her home in the Maunawili Valley featuring her 1895 Steinway Concert Grand Piano. Mrs. Gay was also an artist and author of short stories published in literary magazines such as the Kenyon Review, Texas Quarterly, Carolina Quarterly, Honolulu Magazine. She also published "The Julliard String Quartet" 1974 and a novel "Ode's Den" 1996. She served on the staff of the Famous Writers School, Westport, Conn. She studied art at the Honolulu Art Academy with such well known artists as Gabor Peterdi and Larry Calcagno.
