He was a Warehouse Manager for Executive Chef/Bath and Butler and a member of the United Puerto Rican Association of Hawaii. Preceded in death by wife Cecilia R. Diaz on October 24, 2012. He is survived by Sons: John K. Hesia, Dennis (Colleen) Hesia of Hilo, Frank (Kalae) Hesia, Carlos (Tracy) Diaz, Jr., Richard (Gina) Diaz, Delbert Diaz, Darryl (Gina) Diaz; Daughters: Matilda Hesia, Emelia Rodrigues, Lori Ann (Eddie) Diaz; Hanai Sons: Enrique (Mokihana) Rodrigues, Joel (Bobbie) Daniels; Brother: David (Vilma) Munoz of Puerto Rico.
