John Spooner "Uncle Jim" Militante Jr., 76, of Honolulu, a retired Consolidated Amusement film department assistant manager and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sisters Pam Phillips and Inez Yee Poong. Visitation: 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Christian Fellowship, Sand Island. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Scattering of ashes at a later date.
