Edwin Takeo Iwata, 77, of Pearl City, a retired Continental Airlines aircraft mechanic and an Army veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Chon Sun Martinez Iwata; sons Kurtis, Darryl and Jason; daughter Leslie Mihara; brother Clarence; sister Sally; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Waianae Hongwanji. Services: 11:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
