83Robert Masami Ota, 89, of Honolulu, a retired Bank of Hawaii vice president and retired dean of tropical agriculture at the University of Hawaii, died in Honolulu. He was born in Kalaoa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Helen G., sons Ronald B. and Russell A., daughter E. Ann Nishimoto, sister Maude S. Kasuya and three grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Saturday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services: 5 p.m. Aloha or casual attire.
