Randal "Buster" Sylva, 82, of Kailua, a retired GTE Hawaiian Tel technician and retired Army staff sergeant, died in Honolulu. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by wife Patricia J., son Randal A., sister Vera Demello and two grandchildren. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Sunday at Kailua Beach.
