JEAN F. CORNUELLE Age 90, passed away March 5, 2013, in Honolulu. Born May 10, 1922, in San Diego, California. Wife of the late Herbert C. Cornuelle. She loved travel, learning, community-building, cooking, bridge, and tennis. She was devoted to her family and a large circle of treasured friends. Her friendships spanned cultures, societal groups, and generations of families. Community involvement included the Red Cross, Garden Club, Nature Conservancy of Hawaii, Hawaii Pacific University, and Hawaii Public Radio, among others. Everyone appreciated her wisdom, insight, and humor. She was known for her forthrightness and rumored to be opinionated. Services will be private. Donations may be made to Punahou School, Nature Conservancy, Hawaii Pacific University, or Honolulu Academy of Arts.
