71Edwin Gurr, 80, of Kahuku, a lawyer in American Samoa and a Coast Guard veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Kailua. He was born in Maloata, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Rose; sons Glenn, Chris and Gideon; brothers Laisene, Stanley, Bernard, John and Peter; sisters Diana Tuinei, Rose Silao and Fanua Leiataua; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laie North Stake Center. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Laie Cemetery.
