ALICE CRUZ FELLEZ Alice Cruz Fellez of Eugene passed away peacefully on February 20, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born in Hawaii on November 20, 1920 on the Waialua Sugar Plantation on Oahu's Northshore, to Alphonso and Cozy Cruz. Alice married her true love George Fellez on December 11, 1941, four days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Upon her retirement in 1992, she and George moved to Eugene to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Alice was a devout Catholic, whose faith was the foundation or her life. She was called upon by many to intercede on their behalf because of her strength of prayer. Alice was preceded in death by her husband George and her son George Jr. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia of Eugene and her son Leonard of Seattle, sisters Margaret Capello of Hawaii, Rita Schaefer of Wisconsin and Alphonso Cruz of Arizona. Rosary: 12:30pm, Wednesday, March 27, at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Burial to follow. Casual Attire.
