She was born in Koolaupoko, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Carl Kalani, and Alika and Emil Keahunahala Beyer; daughters Catherinealice Naniwa "Neva" Makizuru and Jacqueline Montgomery; brothers Paul K. and William K.
