Lawrence Kupanihi Aki Jr., 79, of Henderson, Nev., an aerospace engineer and Air Force veteran, died in Henderson. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by hanai daughter Monica Hupp; brother Francis K. Sr.; sisters Inez Aki, Emmaline Kaailau, Juliet Tankersley, Violet Lung and Mary Huihui; and two hanai grandchildren. Visitation:9 a.m. Saturday at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Memorial Chapel, Kamehameha Schools campus. Services: 10 a.m. Private inurnment. Aloha attire. No flowers.
