79David Jay Peneyra, 51, of Ewa Beach, a former auto mechanic at Midas Muffler and Larry's Discount Muffler, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Aaron; daughters Shaunte Montibon, Jaymie Peneyra and Sassely Tobosa; mother LaPaz; brother Alex; sister Belinda Makela; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. April 5 at New Hope Leeward, Waipahu. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
