72Eugenio Alaibilla "Rudy" Azares, 90, of Puhi, Kauai, a retired McBryde Sugar Plantation crew chief, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Leonidas "Lee"; sons Constante "Tante," Samuel J. and Leonard "Kimo"; daughters Eugenie "Genie" Carvalho, Francine Dizol and Patricia Santos; sisters Maximiniana "Rita" Valensuela and Rosario "Rosie" Azares; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Celebration of life at a later date.
