REBECCA BECKY BEE KAMOKU IMILOA MIKALEMI SEGOVIA TAITAGUE Age 91, of Aiea, HI, passed away February 22, 2013 in Honolulu. Born November 23, 1921 in Aiea, HI. Retired from the Navy Exchange in 1989 after 20+ years of service. She went with a smile on her face knowing she accomplished all that she had come to earth to do. She was a graduate of Farrington High School class of 1940. As the last of her generation from a time so long ago she shared stories of growing up In her beloved 'Aiea from the teachings of La'au Lapa'au by her Tutu wahine to reminiscing life after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. In her youth she played Volleyball, Tennis, and was an ace pitcher in Mountain Ball leagues. A fantastic fast-paced jitter-bug dancer in her time she never lost the joy to dance as she aged. A spunky happy spirit she was so proud to be 91 years old and the matriarch of 5 generation. A ready smile; always happy to meet you, one can't help but to embrace her love & pride of all she lived, of all she shared, with a smile on her face. A life well lived; A Iife's purpose fulfilled. She is survived by daughters, Dan'Ella (Rodney) Saloricman, Patricia Suniga, Melissa Hartshorn, Rebecca S. (James) Taitague, Jr.; sister, Martha Abella; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 10 great- great-grandchildren. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday (April 4) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service 7:00 p.m. Visitation also 10:00 a.m. Friday (April 5) at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (99-312 Moanalua Rd., Aiea); Mass 11:00 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire.
