83, died at home in Manoa surrounded by loved ones. Russ was born August 22, 1929, in Honolulu. He was a 1947 graduate of Kamehameha Schools, a 1951 graduate of Whittier College where he met his wife to be, a 1958 graduate of the American Institute of Baking, and the founder and owner of L.W. Holt Bakery for 22 years. From 1951 to 1953, he served as a Lieutenant in the US Air Force. Lemon was also a retired Hawaiian Electric warehouse employee. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol and their 9 children: Karen Holt (Ted Takamiya), Ann Wiltbank (Milo), Susan Holt, Jeanne Brady (James), Paul Holt, Steven Holt (Deanna), Charles Holt (Carole), Mary Holt- Gosselin (Dan) and Alice Taum (Mark); 28 grandchildren: Wiltbanks: John, Charles, Lisa, Matthew; Susan Holt: Paul Rohrer; Bradys: Amie Russ, Alisha, Joshua; Steven Holts: Colby, Kathleen Jensen, Harley, Alida, Leila, Julia; Charles Holts: Catherine, Christina, Christopher; Holt- Gosselins: Tim, Heidi, Anna, Emily, Sarah, Bailey, Rachael; Taums: Christian, Cory, Cheyne, Anuhea and 4 great grand children: Jayda, Kloie, Marlie and Milo III. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. at the Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Casual or aloha attire.
