Thomas Hideichi Uehara, 85, of Honolulu, a retired heavy equipment mechanic at Schofield Barracks and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Niulii, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Joyce E.; son Kevin R.; brothers Dennis I., George S. and Wallace S. Uyehara; and two grandchildren. Private services.
