78John S. McCreary, 83, of Honolulu, a retired canon and organist emeritus at St. Andrew's Cathedral, died in Honolulu. He was born in Indiana, Pa. He is survived by wife Elizabeth "Betsy," son Kendall, daughter Susan DuPrey, brother Harry C., sister Charlotte M. Culver and two grandchildren. Visitation:10 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral Church of St. Andrew, 229 Queen Emma Square, Honolulu. No flowers.
