Howard Warren Butler, 75, of Hilo, a retired Army medic, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in St. Louis. He is survived by sons Ernie Mooney, Howard Beates and John Butler; daughters Leilani Mooney, Winona Beates and Wainani Lee; and 16 grandchildren. Committal services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
