ALICE REGO VENTURA LENNON
94 years old, died on April 12, 2013 at Oceanside Assisted Living in Hauula, Hawaii. Alice was born in Malukia, Maui to the late Eliza (De Souza) and Manuel De Ventura in 1918. Alice was educated in Maui schools until moving with her family to Honolulu. She was a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Hearts in Honolulu. Alice was the widow of John J. Lennon, Major (Ret) USAF who died in 1993. She was also predeceased by her son John J. Lennon Jr. who died in 1988. Her three sisters; Suzanne Kahapea, Katherine Pacheco, and Grace Meyers also predeceased her as well as her brother Alvin Ventura. Alice is survived by her son, Thomas J. Lennon, B/Gen., (Ret) USAF, and his wife Lynn of Amherst, N.H. Two grandsons, Col. Thomas J. Lennon JR.,USAF and his wife Amie of Barksdale AFB, LA., and Timothy J. Lennon, Esq. and his wife Emily of Appleton, WI. Five great-grand- children; Tommy, Jack, Jay, Kylie, and Dailey Lennon. Alice is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 25th at St. Joachim Church in Hauula at 10:00 a.m.
