Molly Hatsue Kumura

Molly Hatsue Kumura, 93, of Kaimuki, retired housekeeper, died at Gaylord’s Adult Residential Care Home. She was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii and is survived by son, Norman (Winifred); brother Mitsugi “Putch” Asaeda; sisters Chieko Oshiro (Harry), Mitsue Takatani and Miyoko Maeda (Peter), granddaughters Andrea Kumura, Stacia Kumura and Maris Kumura Jones; and five great-grandchildren. She now joins her late husband, Richard, in a world where everything is perfect. Molly was a sweet, humble and giving mom who served several kamaaina families during all of her working days till she was 85. She was a superb cook on top of doing housekeeping. She enjoyed traveling and was a world traveler going on many tours and cruises. Throughout her 13-years of being diagnosed with vascular dementia she never lost her pleasant disposition and personality. Private services held.
