Takashi "Tak" Okuhara, 89, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Postal Service carrier and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team Company H during World War II, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Lisa N. Cobb, June T. Shimabuku and Gay H. Turgeon; brothers Nobu, Tamotsu, Fred, Edward and Raymond; sister Janet; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
