74Helen Jean Chapman, 98, of Kona, a retiree, died in Los Angeles. She was born in Topeka, Kan. She is survived by son Geoffrey, daughters Alison and Leslie, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. Thursday on the Glass Bottom Boat at Kailua Pier, Kona. Scattering of ashes to follow in Kailua Bay, Kona. Casual attire. No flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Avocats or Hulihee Palace, both in Kona.
