David K.H. Hong, 81, of Hilo, a retired mechanic for Curt's Union 76 station and an Air Force veteran, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Nancy, sons Randall M. and Curtis J., brother Daniel, sister Edith Kong and a grandchild. Visitation: 3 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 4 p.m. Graveside urn committal services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. No flowers.
