Sadao Sato, 85, of Ewa Beach, a retired state Department of Agriculture research statistician and an Army veteran, died in Waipahu. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Suzue, son Clayton, daughter Lisa Takamatsu, sister Saiko S. Nozaki, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
