Josephine Sai Goo Kawakami 84, of Honolulu, Hawaii faded away peacefully on May 1, 2013. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 17, 1928 to Sung Goo and Josephine Kane Goo. She is survived by her husband George, children Jasmine Chu (Paul), Shelley Smith (Frank), Lyle Kawakami (Amy), Patti Arakaki (Les), and Traci Kawakami. She was fondly known as "Booga" by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Charles Kim, Hans Goo, and sister Elizabeth Salis. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend will be greatly missed. Please join us in a Celebration of Life at Borthwick Mortuary on June 9, 2013.
