CHERRY LOU JEONG of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away May 13, 2013 in Queens Hospital. Born July 20, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. A 1960 graduate of Independence High and BA in 1964 from Otterbein College. Cherry was a retired elementary teacher with the State of Hawaii. She is survived by husband, David Jeong; son Trenton Jeong/wife Christal Jeong and granddaughters Riley and Haley. Cherry was the perfect, genteel, seraphic wife of 46 years. The world's greatest mother, "Bestest Popo" and a true beacon of light in our lives and others. Visitations will begin 9am Saturday, (May 25) at Kailua United Methodist Church. Service at 11am with lunch to follow. In lieu of gifts and flowers, all donations will be given to charitable non-profit organizations.
