MARGARET (PEGGY) FROOME
Mrs. Margaret (Peggy) Froome passed away peacefully in her Kailua home on May 3, 2013, a few weeks shy of her 98th birthday. Born and raised in Walnut Creek California, she moved to Oahu in 1941. Peggy married Bill Froome in 1947 and raised their family in Kailua. She is survived by her beloved children Nancy Powell, Dean Froome and Cindy Fragale and grandchildren, Rhiannon, Matthew and Wendy. Her passion focused on painting, gardening, flower arranging and sailing. She was President and Board member of Lanikai/Kailua Outdoor Circle, member of Waikiki, Hawaii and Kaneohe Yacht Clubs, Outrigger Canoe Club, Kailua Historical Society and Kaikala Investment Club. She exemplified the aloha spirit with a quick smile and boundless gifts of flower arrangements. A Celebration of Life is scheduled June 9, 3:00pm in her garden. Contributions may be made to Lanikai/Kailua Outdoor Circle.
