81James Jintoku Tamaye, 96, of Mililani, a retired culinary industry chef, died at home. He was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Beatrice Ito and Shirley Ann Tsukashima, sister Betty Maeshiro, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
