Haruo Nakamura, 86, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter and an Army veteran, died in Veterans Affairs Community Living Center. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by sons Terry, Kyle, Conan and Chris; daughters Karen Masuda and Tandra Matsumoto; brother Noboru; sister Joyce Kaneko; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers.
