Teruto "Terry" Tsubota, 90, of Okinawa, an Army veteran who served in World War II and a retiree from the U.S. Department of Defense in Okinawa, died in Garden Isle Health Care. He was born in Pahoa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Kiyoko, sons Guy and Sid, daughter Renee Horie, brother Katsushi, sister Tatsuko Hayashikawa, four grandchildren and three great-grand- children. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Inurnment at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Kauai Hospice.
