74Charles F. "Sonny" Comer, 80, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a retired city Wastewater Division supervisor and a foster parent, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Gwendolyn M.; sons Myles, Garen, David and Charles Comer Jr., Glen Machado, Earl Reed and Reginald Kamanu; daughters Irene Davidson and Michelle Comer; sister Mildred Warsham; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
