Choki “Romeo” Toma, 89, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired Puna Sugar Co. journeyman welder, died at home. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Mitsuye; sons Clifford and Howard; daughters Marilynn Motofuji, Cheryl Onishi and Beverly Nakao; brothers Chosei and Chokichi; sister Yoneko Yamamoto; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
