Leon "Buck" Farris, 83, of Kailua-Kona, an electrical contractor, owner of Buck's Electric LLC and a Navy veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Lamb County, Texas. He is survived by wife Millie; son Steven; daughter Cindy; stepson Craig Horie; stepdaughter Tanya Yamada; sisters Bettie and Janelle Smith, and Luwanda Dodson; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: noon July 13 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Kailua-Kona. Services: 1 p.m. Casual attire.
