72Mercedes Y. Gonzales, 82, of Ashland, Ore., a civil service employee at Pearl Harbor, died. She was born in Vernonia, Ore. She is survived by husband Florante "Tony"; sons Lucas "Paul," Florante "Terry" and Dionisio "Dino"; daughters Julia F. Villafania, Teresa E. Saquilon and Valerie R. Gonzales; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. June 29 at Praise Chapel-Wahiawa. Casual attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Praise Chapel.
