Katherine Tahira Yasui, 97, of Pearl City, a retired Sinclair Library Circulation Department head at University of Hawaii at Manoa, died in Pearl City. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by sons Daniel and Michael, daughters Patricia M. Teeuw and Dianne N. Ishida, sister Nellie Oshige, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
