Richard Mendez, 80, of Honolulu, an Air Force senior master sergeant supply specialist and retiree, died in Ho-nolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Wayne and Richard Miles; daughters Brenda Moniz, Dora Mendez, Cynthia Smith, Lisa Perez and Michelle Brueggemann; brothers Rudy and Raymond Mendez; sister Helen Rodriguez; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
