Javier Rodriguez Perez, 87, of Waialua, an Army veteran who served in the 303rd Infantry Regiment during World War II, died in Waialua. He was born in Whittier, Calif. He is survived by sons Robert and Virgil Whatley, and Javier and Christopher Perez; daughter Gloria W. Benson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Sunday at the family residence, 68-669 Farrington Highway, Waialua. Casual attire. No flowers.
