JANET JACKIE CLAIRE LEHUA OANA LIU 80, died on May 29, 2013 in Tyler, TX. She was born on November 7, 1932 to the late John Alexander Oana, Sr. & Adeline (Alfonso) Oana. She graduated in 1950 from Sacred Hearts Academy. On July 19, 1952 she married Paul Everett Shoon Fo Liu. Jackie is survived by her brother John A. Oana, Jr. of WA, and her 7 children: Mary T.K. Alden of TX; Lauralynn H. DeNisi of CA; Curtis P. Liu, Garvin J. Liu, and Gregory J. Liu of Oahu, HI; Damianne L. Geppert of MI; and James E. Liu of FL. Jackie is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren, and other family members. Jackie is preceded in death by her husband Paul Everett S.F. Liu, her sister Blanche "Ceci" K. Kaaihue, and her brother Francis K. Oana. Visitation at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Borthwick Mortuary, followed by Celebration-of-Life Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. Aloha attire.
