OSAME YAMAMOTO 92, passed away on July 5, 2013. He was born on December 2, 1920 in Kamae Mauka, Hakalau. He served in the US Army, MIS, during WWII and took part in the Okinawa Campaign and participated in the famous US Forces landing of Okinawa Island on April 1, 1945. He was employed by the US Government in Okinawa and Ft. Shafter, Honolulu from November 4, 1953 to December, 1980. He is survived by his wife Aiko, sons Earl (Roberta), Ralph (Jean), and Brian, 7 grand- children and 8 great grand- children.
