RICHARD SHUNICHI YOSHIDA Age 81, of Honolulu, passed away on July 7, 2013. A veteran of the Korean War, he was born in Pahoa, Hawaii and retired from the U.S. Government Department of Agriculture as a county agent at the University of Hawaii. He was a former employee of the Hawaii Sugar Planters Association (HSPA). Richard is survived by his wife, Jane "Emi"; daughters, Gayle (Clyde) Nishimoto and Janelle (fiance Rick Akutagawa) Yoshida; brother, Sheridan (Laura) Yoshida and sister, Elsie Matsuo. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service at 6:00 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.
