FRANK LOPES, JR. Frank Lopes, Jr. of Lihue, Kauai passed away on July 23, 2013 at the age of 71. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 7, 1942 and was a retired General Contractor and enjoyed life to the fullest. He survived by his wife, Maureen Lopes, two brothers, Gilbert Gomez of Las Vegas and Robert Stivers of Hilo. Six children, Deanne "Candy" (Mike) Lind of Wailua; Sheri (Tom) Maier of Washington; Roxanne (Dave) Daugherty of California; Brian (Michelle) Lopes of Lihue; Maile (Ira) Silva of Lihue and Darin Lopes of Lihue. 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Brother-in- laws, Frank Carlos, Jr., Richard Willson. Sisters-in-law, Eleanor Hee, Donna Willson, Noreen Mokuau, numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary at 3168 Poipu Rd., Koloa. Visitation begins at 10:00am. Service at 11:00am followed by a reception at noon. The Lopes family request casual or aloha attire and flowers omitted. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
