73Russell William Swaney, 83, of Aiea, a retired switchman and repairman for Hawaiian Telcom and Verizon, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waynesfield, Ohio. He is survived by son Russell Jr.; brothers John, Norman, Ralph and Larry; sisters Ruthie Ogletree, Wava Mitchel, MaryJane Ausberger and Judy Craig; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
